Bush Sr. negotiates contracts for oil imports, Bush Jr. is President, gas is $4. Are these thing related?

Since finishing his term as U.S. President, George Bush Senior has worked as an independent consultant for the American Petroleum Institute (API) the trade association representing the U.S. petroleum industry including exploration and production, transportation, refining, and marketing. He negotiates contracts for oil imports into the U.S. and is paid a commission based on profit margin.
2. George Bush Junior is U.S. President.
3. Gas is over $4 and quickly heading to $5 a gallon.
Are these three things related or is it all just an amazing coincidence.

The reason Bush has gas so high,is because of the Middle East,the IDIOT won’t pull out,it’s like he’s afraid to,or something.if we are still involved in the Mid.East conflict,gas will be above $6.00,by next year.his papa must have an mineral oil rights,or something.

The Bush family has strong tied to the OPEC oil companies and consider some leaders of Arab nations as family members. There is nothing like taking care of your own in this case. Unfortunately we all - liberals, conversatives alike - pay in higher food, oil, housing, etc prices.

OPEC those greedy thugs having nothing to do with this? What about the fact all of the oil is in countries that are hostile to the US. Like Canada. lol (just kidding Canadians love ya.) Don’t think OPEC and these nations would raise the price out of spite?
